Pippa Ailion has cast over 75 theatre productions for the West End, UK national tours, Festivals, and theatres in the US, Australia and Europe. She cast three seasons of fifteen European classics for Jonathan Miller at the Old Vic (1987-1991) where she also held the position of Resident Associate Director. She has also cast TV, film, commercials and pop promos.

In over 30 years in theatre Pippa has worked as an actress, company manager, director, producer, casting director and drama teacher. She was Head of the BA Acting Course at Central School of Speech & Drama until 1997 when she decided to return to casting.

Current shows in the West End include: The Postman Always Rings Twice, Billy Elliott, We Will Rock You and The Lion King. Recent West End/London credits include: Acorn Antiques (Haymarket); Simply Heavenly (Trafalgar Studios); Follow My Leader (Hampstead); relaunch of Beauty and The Beast; All You Need Is Love; Song of Singapore, Japes, Rent (also Dublin).

National and regional tours include: The Postman Always Rings Twice (West Yorkshire Playhouse); The Gingerbread Lady; Slamdunk; Golden Boy; Leader Of The Pack; West Side Story; Five Guys Named Moe; Riverdance, Dick Barton Special Agent.

Pippa also cast The Lion King (Hamburg); Jesus Christ Superstar (Frankfurt); The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (Berlin); Cats (Hamburg and Stuttgart); The Lion King (Paris Eurodisney).

Her current projects include Porgy And Bess for the West End (spring 2006); Blue Man Group for the West End (autumn 2005) and A Model Girl (2006).
