As a Stage Manager, could you briefly sum up what your day to day job looks like?

Yes it did, but this was definitely something to make it more exciting. As they were students it meant keeping a track of them a bit more, but with the help from the rest of stage management and Masterclass team it was completely manageable. What would you say was the most important thing, as a stage manager, to make sure Cookies ran smoothly?
Tricky to choose the most important thing! The schedule was slightly different to most productions, so making sure everyone was clear about where they needed to be and when was crucial. Also, as the company consisted of professional actors and students, making sure the cast had a sufficient amount of rehearsal both on and off stage - especially any physical movement such as fight scenes or lifts - it's important the company were safe and felt comfortable with what they were doing. As well as this it was also vital to keep in loop with the whole team, keeping up to date and making sure everything essential was fitted into the production schedule.Do you have any top tips for anyone who is considering a career in stage management?
You can never have too much experience - take up new opportunities even if it's something different, and try to be positive and calm given any situation. If you were a biscuit, what biscuit would you be and why?
Ooo tough! I'll go with a Smarties cookie! Colourful, a variety and sweet but not too sweet!
