About JamesJames has been Artistic Director of Royal & Derngate in Northampton since 2013, having previously been Associate Director at The New Vic Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent and London’s Theatre503 and held Fulbright and Shubert Fellowships in New York. He has directed in the West End, at Shakespeare’s Globe and the National Theatre and at many regional theatres across the UK and abroad. He is a Trustee for Talawa Theatre Company and a 2018 Franco-British Young Leader.
