Artistic Director of the Theatre Royal Stratford East, Nadia Fall hosted a masterclass on verbatim theatre.

Nadia looked at the verbatim play Home which was based on interviews with residents of a hostel for the homeless. A few people were chosen on the day to work onstage with Nadia.

Nadia Fall trained at Goldsmiths College (MA Directing) and on the NT Studio's Directors
programme.

Her directing credits for the National Theatre include: The Suicide, Our Country’s Good,
Dara
, Chewing Gum Dreams, Home, Hymn and The Doctor’s Dilemma.
 
As Associate Director: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Collaborators and The Habit of Art.

Other Directing credits include: Bush (Film4 and Neon Films), Hir and Disgraced (Bush
Theatre), Way Upstream (Chichester Festival Theatre), Hobson’s Choice (Regents Park
 Open Air Theatre), How Was It For You? (Unicorn Theatre), Sticks & Stones (Polka
Theatre), Oliver Twist and The Maids (Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith), Miss Julie (Croydon
Warehouse Theatre) and Wild Turkey (Hoxton Sq, Site Specific).

Nadia has also directed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Unicorn Theatre
and led participation initiatives with partners such as the Young Vic, Clean Break, Soho
Theatre and the Royal Court. She is also an acting coach, supporting professional actors for film and stage.

Nadia started as Artistic Director and Co-Chief Executive of the Theatre Royal Stratford East in October 2017.
