Peter Loose qualified as a Solicitor in 1960 and since then has been a legal practitioner first in Birmingham and then in Lincolns Inn London as a corporate and charity lawyer. Apart form his commercial work, he has been actively involved in establishing and advising charities particularly in the housing association movement. He has been an adviser of the Theatre Royal Haymarket for over 25 years and has a strong connection with the Almeida Theatre Islington. Peter is a Trustee of grant giving charities and in that capacity has tried to encourage small theatre groups which help the young and disadvantaged who may have had little opportunity to experience or participate in theatre. He sees Masterclass as a truly worthwhile and leading project in this field. Peter has been a keen theatre-goer himself since his first schoolboy visits to see Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh at Stratford upon Avon in the 1950s.
