About Oscar


Director Oscar Toeman trained as a Staff and Associate Director at the National Theatre and as an Assistant Director at the RSC, Shakespeare’s Globe and West End. He is an alumni of Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab in New York, where he participated as a recipient of a Michael Grandage Company Futures Bursary. He was runner up for the JMK Award in 2019 and a finalist for the Peter Hall RTST Award 2018.  

Oscar’s directing credits include The Sugar Syndrome at the Orange Tree Theatre, Actually at Trafalgar Studios and After October at the Finborough Theatre.  

He has also been a visiting director at several drama schools, including RWCMD, Arts Ed and East 15.
