Musical Wonderland is a duo made up of Amy Kakoura & Jessica Duncan.
Having found themselves with no foreseeable performance opportunities, the pair decided to take matters into their own hands by creating online concerts. Their aim is to bring you the best repertoire musical theatre has to offer and to also reimagine classic musical standards - from Billy Porter to Cole Porter, and there’s even a Sondheim ‘isolation’ themed medley. They started off with just a foil curtain hung up in Amy’s living room and an iPhone, but now have built their own studio to stream from. They have used this second lockdown to work on their branding and musical arrangements with a view to touring their show once theatres are back up and running again. Their next concert is on Sunday 13th December at 6pm and will be streamed live to their Facebook page.

Stuck in lockdown, ANTS decided to create an entirely new form of theatre to experience from the safety of your sofa! In this ground-breaking new show, called We Still Fax, you will receive a mysterious fax machine in the post. The machine will guide you on a sci-fi journey and connect you to someone in an alternate dimension; someone who needs your help! Tasked with their ridiculously important mission, you will need to crack codes, send faxes, unlock secret hatches and, when the time comes, push the big, red button. ANTS have repurposed four fully-functioning fax machines that they will send to audiences in the post ahead of performances; at your show time, you plug it in, and it comes to life – simple! No zoom, no skype, no laptops or phones. This is old-school fun like you’ve never experienced before! We Still Fax premiers in January, but you can gift the show this Christmas, with a secret lockbox and a fax scroll being sent to the recipient. Of course, you’ll need to keep this safe, as the lockbox will unlock the show, as well as another dimension…
Starts 7 January
