Neal is the Actor/Manager of the Birmingham Stage Company, which he founded in 1992. The BSC has become one of the world’s leading producers of theatre for children and their families. For fifteen years Neal has produced all the Horrible Histories
shows and the major productions of stories by David Walliams, which he has also adapted and directed.
Neal remains an actor and his roles include Skellig in Skellig
at The New Victory Theatre, New York, Storey in Awful Egyptians
at The Sydney Opera House and Rex in Barmy Britain
at the Garrick and the Apollo, West End.
