Interested in leading workshops but not sure how to get experience?

We are looking for an Assistant Facilitator for our next Start Your Script Workshops on Tues 30 May & Fri 2 June. You will be an active theatre-maker, perhaps an actor, director, writer or designer, but you do not need any previous experience of facilitation, just a keen interest in supporting the next generation of creatives - it will be a lot of fun! We are particularly keen to hear from people with Global Majority backgrounds, to reflect the diverse make-up of our participating young writers.

9am-4.30pm, Tuesday 30 May, The Other Palace

You will be assisting our in-house facilitators, Barra and Rosie, in hosting a 'Start Your Script' Workshop for participants from Avenues Youth Project. This will also involve attending a backstage tour of Hamilton The Musical.

9am - 4.30pm, Friday 2 June, Avenues Youth Project

You will be workshopping the short pieces of new writing that the young people have written. We will also be joined by actors & directors from the Masterclass membership, who will help to record the scripts as short audio dramas.

You will be paid a total of £240 for your participation (2 workshop days).

Please complete this Application Form. Please note you do not need to have previous experience of facilitation, but let us know if you have any experience of hosting or attending workshops, and how you would bring your theatre-making skills to bear in these workshops.
