This year we are taking over a shed at Latitude Festival 2023. You can join us daily for a variety of workshops:
Puppet Making Station - run by Masterclass member Alex Milledge
Make your own eco-friendly puppet and learn how to puppeteer its moving elements. Use materials saved from landfill by the Scrapstore to style your unique, personalised puppet.
WHEN: Daily from 11am – 12.30pm at the Masterclass shed in the Faraway Forest.
Clowning & Imrpov Workshop - run by Masterclass membe Stella Von Koskull
This is a fast-paced and fun-packed session, introducing you to some clowning and improvisation techniques. We’ll be playing games, doing some exercises and starting to devise some small scenes with an option to share. Be ready to come and play!
WHEN: Friday 2pm, ages 18+ / Saturday 12.30pm, ages 12-18
Spoken Word Workshop - run by Masterclass member Elle Dillon-Reams
Spark an idea! Join Elle Dillon-Reams to explore short-form free writing and make something magical in minutes. Whether you’re a poet flexing your creative muscles or you’ve never put pen to paper, this is the perfect workshop to start or continue your exploration of poetry, through creative writing exercises. Share your writing with your fellow poets or keep it for yourself!
WHEN: Friday 12.30pm, ages 12 – 18 / Sunday 2pm, ages 18+
What I Stand For – Political Theatre workshop run by Masterclass member Eden Rickson
An introduction to political theatre and creative activism, with creative climate activist, Eden Rickson. Feel like your voice is disappearing in the crowd? In this safe space, connect your body and voice to express yourself creatively and build confidence in sharing your views.
