Script Scratch

Script Scratch is an exciting platform that celebrates new writing, bringing fresh scripts to life and offering valuable feedback to help develop the next generation of theatre. These events feature works-in-progress from emerging writers, with live readings of excerpts rehearsed with a director and performed by actors, alongside design concepts from new designers.

Each event showcases a selection of scripts, where writers introduce their work, directors share their vision for the piece, designers reveal their concepts, and actors bring the words to life in front of a live audience. After the reading, the audience is invited to share their thoughts via a live link, followed by a discussion with the writer.

Beyond the performances, Script Scratch offers an excellent opportunity for networking. Writers, directors, designers, producers, actors, and other creatives come together to connect, collaborate, and discuss potential future projects.
