An access rider is a comprehensive document outlining your access needs. Anyone can make one and anyone might need one. You might create one for your employer, but it is useful for anyone you have a working relationship with. Your access rider provides people with a better understanding of your specific requirements. For example, it could feature information about the accessibility you require in a rehearsal space, the best font size or paper colour for your script, and/or requests around the way the day is organised – allowing time to process information.
