Educational Resources
We work with schools, youth groups and young people nationwide to ensure that teenagers are offered free access to the theatre, to inspire and introduce them to the varied opportunities in the creative industries.
For Teachers & Youth Leaders
We offer free school and youth group visits to the Theatre Royal Haymarket, including backstage guided tours, access to observe rehearsals, and bespoke workshops. We can also offer group bookings for suitable masterclasses and events. Please speak to our Operations Manager Charlotte for more information.
For Westminster & Brent Schools, we offer free in-school 'Careers in Theatre' Workshops, in partnership with TheatreCraft. These sessions offer students the opportunity to explore off-stage roles in theatre. Please speak to our Operations Manager Charlotte for more information.
To keep up to date with our upcoming masterclasses sessions and events, please sign up to our free newsletter via the link in our footer.
Educational Resources
Our award-winning filmed production Cookies and accompanying educational resources for Key Stages 3,4 & 5 are available online for free. We can also arrange bespoke workshops.
We have an educational workshop called the Communitech Project, with accompanying resources. The workshop uses drama exercises to explore cyber security issues and prevention techniques, in order to instil confidence in participants about staying safe online.
Work Experience
We offer work experience placements to young people aged 16+. Our week long placements include a look at all elements of working 'behind the scenes' in a theatre, including access to our technical and production departments. We can also offer specific bespoke day placements.
