Adrian Dunbar’s prolific career encompasses extensive theatre, film & television credits.
His theatre work includes The Night Alive and Brendan at the Chelsea for the Lyric Belfast, Girl With a Pearl Earring (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Boeing Boeing (Comedy Theatre), Exiles (National Theatre), The Shaughran (Abbey, Dublin), King Lear and Saved (Royal Court), Pentecost (Tricycle) and Ghosts at the Young Vic.
His numerous television credits include five seasons of Line of Duty, Broken, Silent Witness, Nicholas Nickleby, Death in Paradise, Scott and Bailey, Silk, Ashes to Ashes, Murphy’s Law and Cracker.
His films include The Snowman, Act of God, Kidnapped, Wild About Harry, The General,
Richard III, Widow’s Peak, The Crying Game, Hear My Song and My Left Foot
Adrian was awarded a BAFTA for co-writing the film Hear My Song with Peter Chelson and has several new screenplays in development.
Adrian has also directed both for theatre and TV.
