Diyan Zora is a theatre director and writer. As winner of the 2021 Genesis Future Directors Award, Diyan directed Klippies by Jessica Sian at the Young Vic Theatre in August 2021. She recently directed The Maladies by Carmen Nasr at the Almeida Theatre (currently postponed) and worked with Alexander Zeldin as an Associate Director on his latest play Faith, Hope and Charity at the National Theatre.
Iraqi born and Birmingham raised, Diyan currently resides in London where her first play as a director - a bilingual Arabic/English Othello - sold out a 3 week run at the Barons Court Theatre. She has since directed new writing plays by Hassan Abdulrazzak, Martin Crimp, Fiona Doyle, Afsaneh Grey, Hannah Khalil and Silva Semerciyan.
