Alone in his boyfriend Ali’s underground bunker, hiding from the homophobic world outside, Aaron waits for Ali to return and for their life to continue as it was before. But the more he waits the more he worries - what if Ali never comes back? What if something happened to him? Or worse - what if he decided not to come back? In his moment of crisis, Aaron is greeted by apparition of Karl Marx and W.H. Auden, who help him question whether he owes it to himself to stay safe, or if he owes it to the world to go out and make a difference.
