In the Splott district of Cardiff we follow Eira, a care leaver, as she attempts to take her first steps into adulthood guided by her very limited skillset. Secretly watching her navigate this new life is Agnes, the elderly lady who lives downstairs. Agnes, uncertain of Eira’s reaction, tentatively works towards reaching out. Eira’s intrigue grows as she becomes aware of the elderly woman’s presence.

Inspired by working as support staff in a children’s care home, the  play addresses issues faced by care leavers and shines a light on loneliness at either end of the age divide.
